Murine macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein-5 (MCP-5) is a member of the beta-chemokine family (C-C) of cytokines. This chemokine is strongly chemotactic for human monocytes and murine peritoneal macrophages, but is not active on mouse neutrophils and shows only a weak response on mouse eosinophils at high concentrations.
